The International Tribunal of Conscience

Organized by the Global Alternative Forum of Peoples in Movement, this activity is part of the alternative visions to the 4th Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) that will be held in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, November 8-11.

4-6 November 2010 / Mexico City

The International Tribunal of Conscience is the first of its kind, it will focus on issues affecting migrants, refugees, and the displaced. Its main objetive is to document, judge and denunciate rights violations in these topics commited by states, goverments, businesses, institutions, organizations, or people.

A first session of the International Tribunal will also be held in Quito, Ecuador, in relation to the 4th World Social Forum on Migrations, October 8-12.
