Academics Stand Against Poverty (ASAP) Petition - September 2014

ASAP is calling on UN to push for the inclusion of specific policies in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that would curb global tax abuse.

Illicit financial flows have a direct impact on poverty  and CROP supports ASAP's efforts to collect signatures from people of all backgrounds before the start of the UNGA General Debate on September 24.

Fifty tax and development experts have already signed the petition, which calls for strong action on tax abuse in the SDGs.

If you would like to publicly endorse the letter, please visit the petition page on Avaaz.
