The World Social Science Fellows Programme aims to foster the next generation of leaders in social sciences. 

CROP was one of the partners in the second WSSF seminar, held in November 2014 in Taipei, Taiwan, with IRDR-ICoE, Academia Sinica, National Taipei University, ISSC and IHDP. The resulting book, Dialogues of Sustainable Urbanisation: Social Science Research and Transitions to Urban Contexts, focuses on sustainable urbanisation and the contribution of social science research to sustainable urban futures,
