Poverty and Social Exclusion in the Mediterranean Area

The aim of this workshop was to promote debate among social scientists on poverty and social exclusion in the countries of the Mediterranean Area, to analyse poverty problems and different forms of disadvantage, especially in the less advanced countries of the area, and to stimulate reflection on policies and strategies to combat poverty and social exclusion delivered by national and international agencies.
