29 Countries, 29 Faces of Poverty

29 Countries, 29 Faces of Poverty

VIDEO clips produced by the European Commission

In the context of the 2010 European Year and beyond, the European Commission has produced a series of video clips about combating poverty and social exclusion in the EU Member States (as well as in Iceland and Norway).

Each report features a country-specific context providing national facts and figures on poverty and social exclusion. It also features a concrete initiative or project to fight poverty and social exclusion illustrated through the personal story of someone who has managed to get out of poverty thanks to the initiative. Adding to these 29 video clips there is a video clip on EU policies for combating poverty and social exclusion.
