Part 1: Open event at the BRC

  • Introduction to Sustainability Science
  • Presentation by representative from UNESCO
  • Sustainability Science at UiB
  • Presentation by invited international guest(s) providing insight into the most recent international research in Sustainability Science

Part 2: Workshop for registered participants

Chaired panel sessions with contributions from a range of disciplines at UiB, including an insight into how they are related to Sustainability Science and how this relationship can serve to advance responses to contemporary global challenges

  • Continued discussion regarding the status of Transdisciplinary Research (TDR) and Sustainability Science at UiB
  • Discussion regarding further co-operation within Sustainability Science, including potential follow-up conferences/workshops, publications, consortia for a joint application to the Research Council of Norway, Horizon2020 or other similar funding possibilities
