CROPNet
CROP mobilises research through an extensive international and multi-disciplinary research network, CROPNet.
CROPNet is the name of CROP's network of scholars in the field of poverty research and includes all former and current members of CROP's Scientific Committee, former and current CROP Fellows, associated institutions and contributors to CROP's programme of activities. New members are added to the CROPNet database when they:
- present papers at CROP events
- submit proposals through CROP's open calls
- participate in CROP events and/or related activities or projects
Membership of CROPNet is thus only for those who actively contribute to CROP. Non-contributing attendees at public events or passive members of our mailing list are not included in the CROPNet numbers. In September 2017, CROPNet comprised more than 1500 members across the globe.
For researchers, CROPNet provides a possibility to exchange views and ideas, make publications and knowledge visible, participate in activities aimed at policy transfer, keep informed about relevant events, news and publications, and find potential partners for collaboration.
Building and extending the global reach and impact of the CROP network and facilitating knowledge exchange is one of CROP's key goals. CROP aims to encourage the emergence of smaller thematic networks and to support the creation of new core projects. The CROP Secretariat welcomes any suggestions from CROPNet members.
Members of CROPNet are automatically registered on the CROP mailing list, which will keep them informed and up-to-date about CROP's activities and events. This mailing list is open to all interested parties and you are welcome to sign up.
